A Magical Dining Experience

Kupanaha is a fun, and entertaining way to spend an evening. If you want to experience a throw back to the 60's with Black lights, and Vegas style magic then this could be the evening your looking for. You are 1st greeted with Animatronics’ when you walk in, the 1st character is a humorous Imu (pig) who cracks a few jokes, then I think the next character was a snake, and then a large animated tree. It has the feel of an animated theme park event. Then you sit down, to a colorful table illuminated by black lights, which creates a memorable and 60's feel. There are 3 stages, once front and center, and two to the right. You best viewing for all 3 is to be seated towards the front or to the right.

It's open bar for about an hour, and they serve you traditional mixed drinks at your table. We Shared one Steak and Shrimp dish, and one Veggie platter. The food was pretty good, and knows that you do have some options for your customers. You can substitute a green salad for any of the App’s but you must call this in. And with dessert you can have cheesecake, fruit plate or ice cream. Default is cheesecake for Meat dishes, and fruit plate for the vegetarians; much like the app are pork egg rolls for meat dishes and a roasted veggie brochette for vegetarian dishes. This simple gesture of these additions could make your customer very happy.

The show began with a very young dance troop, and moved into the magic show. The show was entertaining, done Vegas style, with a lot of Aloha thrown in. The levitation was a neat trick, along with the sawing in half act. Some slight of hand was also thrown in, and an imaginary card trick, which were still not sure how he did it. This is a great option for families, but equally a good time for couples. For many repeat customers to Maui, this could be a good choice for them to try something, fresh, and entertaining. Overall this was a nice way to spend an evening, and a departure to many other activities here in Paradise.
