My Photo Safari

I love teaching photography. I teach at the local college and have a great time each semester helping people of all skill levels learn how to create art with their technological toys. But for me, the best experience is when I get to take a small group of photographers on a Maui safari. Usually these photographers are people who want to experience Maui from an insider's POV. Because I've lived here since the 70's and have worked as a professional photographer for every major landowner on Maui I have access to keys that unlock gates that allow us to get to special Maui photos very few people ever get a chance to shoot. Plus, I have wonderful accomodations in remote areas, where we end up at the end of a long day viewing everyone's best work of the day. People move ahead exponentially in their ability to create great work when they are immersed and getting immediate feedback or creative solutions from someone who's already mastered a certain technique. If you want to sign up for one...
