Would you enjoy seeing Haleakala, the dormant volcano, or enjoy taking the spectacular drive to Hana? Or how about just relaxing and acquiring that perfect Hawaiian tan? Across the street is the 36-hole championship Royal Kaanapali golf course. Three additional courses are located at Kapalua, just a 15-minute drive from The Whaler. TRANSPORTATION: Maui's Kahului Airport is serviced by international, domestic and inter-island carriers. Rental cars are available at the airport. The airport is located 32 miles from The Whaler. Take highway #380 to highway #30 and go north, through the town of Lahaina, to the entrance of The Kaanapali Beach Resort. Follow the parkway until you reach The Whaler. Kapalua-West Maui Airport is also served by inter-island carriers and is just 10 minutes away. Rental cars are available for this airport also.
