Aloha and Välkommen! I'm LISA OWEN and I lead several musical groups here on Maui. I've lived
on the island for 17 exciting years, and I've been active on the music scene ever since I arrived from Sweden, via California. I can fill most musical needs on
Maui, Lanai, and Molokai with my top-quality smorgasbord of bands, all with highly professional musicians.

 MOONGLOW is a swing band that specializes in swing standards from the
30's and 40's as well as Latin jazz and some contemporary music. This group
can play with 8 to 18 musicians and uses standard Big Band
instrumentation. All musicians dress in
formal wear. Performances include the Mayor's Annual Ball, Maui Symphony
Jazz Concerts, conventions, ballroom dance events, hotel engagements, and
many more. A truly classy musical group.

ALOHA SPIRITS is the perfect band for a wedding reception or any other
type of party. This group plays a variety of FUN music including R&B,
Latin, swing, disco, and even an occasional waltz. Instrumentation includes
trumpet, tenor saxophone, trombone, piano, bass, and drums. A vocalist can
be added. For a small group, it produces a BIG sound and will get everyone
out on the dance floor!

MAUI BRASS ENSEMBLE is a brass quartet which specializes in
holiday/Christmas music, church and wedding ceremonies, and other festive
occasions requiring the classical sounds of two trumpets, trombone, and
tuba. This group does not need amplification, making it ideal for
gatherings where space or resources may be limited. The Maui Brass Ensemble
musicians are members of the Maui Symphony.

HIGH SEAS DIXIELAND BAND is a RIP-ROARING traditional jazz band
guaranteed to get your toes tapping! This group has played together for 17
years and is one of the most sought after musical groups of its kind on
Maui. The band performs regularly at conventions, political gatherings,
hotel functions, fund raisers, wedding receptions, and private parties. The instrumentation is traditional, with trumpet, clarinet, trombone,
tuba, banjo, and drums. The drummer doubles as a vocalist. The High Seas
will liven up any function!

VILLAGE MUSICIANS is a German trio consisting of keyboards/accordion,
clarinet and tuba. The group can expand and add drums, trumpet and trombone
for a fuller sound. The music includes authentic polkas, waltzes, marches,
and schottisches, collected in Germany and Switzerland. Some well-recognized American polkas are also played. This group will make your
Oktoberfest party a memorable event!
