Data Rings in HoloDynamic Compression

The genesis of HoloDynamic Compression comes from a desire to model the way in which the human mind operates. One of the fundamental concepts of HoloDynamics is that the human mind seeks to break down groups of patterns into their resonances. To model the way in which the human mind does this it will be necessary to develop ways of looking at data in terms of resonances. Before one can do this, however, one needs to think about the form that this data must take. In "HoloDynamic Compression: Mapping Miracles into the Machine" the fact was discussed that even the simplest sentence contains a whole myriad of concepts and images embedded in it. Data that has many overlapping patterns embedded in it will appear to be chaotic(unpatterned) because no one pattern will dominate its structure. How does one look for resonances in this type of data?

As one of the fundamental concepts of HoloDynamics it is presupposed that underlying resonances occur in all things because all things are interconnected the same way that all the light information in a hologram is interconnected . Therefore as a model of the human mind we will presuppose that there is some process that allows the human mind to look for the resonances that result from the underlying connectedness in the chaotic data of the mind.

To begin modeling this complex interconnectness one needs to start with some simple constructs from which to begin building such a model. One of the most simple constructs is one to one interconnections in strings of data. This type type of structure can be explored by taking a string of data and simply shifting it relative to itself and looking for matching between the strings. For example, suppose you had the string "AADDCFG". You could shift the whole string one letter and wrap it around to form "GAADDCF" and then compare this to the original. Then you could shift the string two letters to form "FGAADDC" and do another comparison. You could keep doing this until you end up back with original string of data. In this way you can look for simple interconnections in "rings" of data.

In the documents to follow I will use this "data ring" analysis technique for pattern searching in chaotic data. By using this data ring analysis I will show that patterns can be found that can be used toward HoloDynamic compression in data that has already been compressed by highly efficient conventional tecniques.
