Sound the luthier is seeking:
German's guitars are very reasonant, with plenty of volume and projection. Tone varies from model to model and with materials but German tries to appease the customer and match the sound they are looking for.

Brazilian and Indian rosewood

Cocobolo, cypress, maple, palo escrito.

Other available options:
German's top models come with snakewood bindings and Rodgers tuning machines unless other arrangements are made with the customer. Flamenco models come with Schaller ebony button tuning machines or traditional friction pegs.
Other comments:
German requires a $1,000 dollar deposit to begin construction. Once he has begun, the instrument should be ready in two and a half to three months. If possible customers are more than welcome to stop by the shop and take pictures of their guitar throughout the building process.
