One of the real attractions of being married on Maui is the natural beauty of the island. In addition, there are many beautiful private estates, hotels, and churches that serve as wedding sites.

Hawaii beaches are public, and therefore free to use. If you are staying at a waterfront location, the beach in front of your lodging may be the perfect spot.

Please be aware that beaches can be crowded during the day, affording limited privacy, although most tend to clear off near sunset (which of course is the most popular time of day to have a wedding).

There are several beaches on both the south and west shores that are normally deserted during the day, but are still excellent sites. Generally speaking, the beaches on the south shore are preferable to the west shore beaches, as many of the latter are quite near the major highway.

MAUI PRINCE HOTEL The grounds of your hotel or condo may be just the perfect site for you. Most condos do not charge a fee for guests, while all hotels and resorts do have a site fee for guests and non-guest alike. The larger resorts have catering departments, and can provide champagne and/or a wedding cake at the wedding site. The Maui Prince Hotel in Makena, offers three beautiful private wedding sites. A garden courtyard with a large cascading waterfall and two ocean front properties overlooking South Maluaka Beach. Site Fee $1,500.00 (Plus Hawaii state Tax)

TROPICAL BOTANICAL GARDENS   Tropical Gardens of Maui is nestled in the valley of Iao Mountain in Wailuku. Lush tropical garden grounds with ponds and a white wedding gazebo. There is no sunset here- This site is suitable for morning or early afternoon weddings only. Site Fee $275.00 (Plus Hawaii state Tax)

SOUTH MALUAKA BEACH PARK (MAKENA)

There are a number of public parks on the island. Some are right next to the ocean, some tucked away in mountain valleys, and others on the mountainside, offering fantastic views. There is no site fee for any of these and we can almost always find a really nice place to set up for your ceremony.

And, of course, there are a number of beautiful churches and chapels on Maui that are open to having wedding couples use their facilities.

Grand Wailea Garden Gazebo

St. Johns Church is located off the slopes of Haleakala Crater located in Kula. Spectacular views, this quaint little church is very beautiful with its peaceful surroundings. Morning and early early afternoon weddings are preferred.

HYATT REGENCY RESORT

Located on west Maui has several private wedding sites to select from. The Most preferred is the Wedding Chapel or Statue Gardens. Private Wedding Dinner or Receptions can be arranged or dine in one of their premiere restaurants. Site Fee $2,500.00

Renaissance Wailea Resort has a private wedding site called the 'Aloha Aina" it features cascading waterfalls with bridges and lush tropical gardens surrounding an Island for a private Wedding. This site is suitable for parties of 30 or less only.

The Seawatch Wedding Knoll in Wailea nestled on the slopes of Haleakala Crater. This Private wedding site offers spectacular views of the ocean with Islands in the back ground along with beautiful mountain views. The Upper Wedding Knoll can seat up to 25 and the Lower Wedding Knoll can seat up to 60. A private Dinner or Wedding Reception can also be arrange in their restaurant making it very convenient and keeping everything in one location. Sunset Pictures can be taken right down the street at Poolenlena Beach while your guest enjoy appetizers and cocktails.
