For the first 4 days we will be staying in Kihei in an apartment complex directly on the ocean. We will snorkel at La Perouse, walk the King's Highway, visit an old Hawaiian village as well as bathe in refreshing tidepools and enjoy the famous Makena Beach. We will take part in a whale watch adventure sailing a boat to the little island crater of Molokini. There will be plenty of time to shop and prepare your own food from all the different cultural cuisines the island has to offer. On the fourth day we will head towards the unspoiled natural Baldwin Beach on the North Shore, browse in lovely shops in the quaint surfer town of Paia and watch daredevils windsurfing on the gigantic waves at Ho'okipa. The innumerable curves of the legendary road to Hana will enchant you with some of the most awesome panoramic vistas of the world. A delicious dinner will await you to celebrate your arrival in Hana. Our house is directly situated between Koki and Hamoa beach in the enchanting area of Hana where you can still feel the magic and the pulse of the old Hawai'i. Everyday we will hike to or visit the most secluded and beautiful sites in the area (click here for more info). Our journey will end with the magnificent views atop Haleakala Crater after a spectacular winding drive up to 10,000' passing though the ever changing climates and vegetation on the slopes of this dormant volcano.
