BEGINNER WINDSURFING
FLEET
We use HiFly 335's for our
beginner/intermediate windsurfing lessons. These stable and versatile boards are
the first choice learning vehicle worldwide. We couple these boards with our
unmatched quiver of lightweight rigs featuring the "Latest Fusion
Sails".
 We have a
comprehensive range of sail sizes starting from the tiny 1.2 meter Micro
Fusion kids sail. The "Micro Fusion" kid's sail was custom designed
by Hot Sail's designer Tom Hammerton and master windsurfing instructor David
Dorn for the Action Sports Summer Keiki (Kids) programs. The Micro Fusion is
a small but fully functional high performance wave sail.

This
sail reflects the philosophy of the sail's designers that young sailors
should have access to serious equipment not just toys. The sail range has
incremental sizes, right up to the largest sizes to accommodate sailors of
various weights statures and abilities. These Sails are matched to
lightweight Carbon Fiber masts (Fiberspar Breeze's) These are the lightest
performance masts available in the world. The booms are light weight and are
custom designed with a narrow grip diameter for added comfort and ease of
use. The combination of these components in our windsurfing rigs are the very
best and latest technology available, no expense has been spared to give the
student the equipment to learn easily and progress rapidly.

WINDSURFING RENTALS
We have the biggest rental
fleet on Maui. Choose boards from: Naish, Mistral, BIC, HiFly, Tiga. Custom Boards by: Angulo, Island Comp,
Jeff Timpone. Sails from; Hot Sails, Naish Sails and Gaastra. Fiberspar, Powerex
and Naish carbon masts, with Hawaiian Pro-Line Booms, Windsurfing Hawaii & Fiberspar bases,
Da Kine harnesses, and roof racks included.

Our helpful and
knowledgeable staff will help you select the right board for your skill level
and the daily conditions. You get two sails to take with you, with the correct
fitting mast, boom and base. We help you fit the racks and get you on your
way. |
We will have the latest wind
reports and marine conditions so you can better select the right gear. If the
wind is too light to sail, you can exchange your sailboard for a surfboard, or
snorkel gear. |

SURFBOARD RENTALS
We have every size of board
to choose from. Soft-top Longboards 9-12 feet, NSP epoxy mini-tankers,
fish and shortboards. We have some custom shaped by; Jeff Timpone, Maui X-it, Watahmon, Mark
Angel, Johnny Vee, Chris Vandervort, Bic, BZ, and Soft-Top boards by Randy
French too. We also rent and sell a large selection of bodyboards and fins. We rent by the day,
week or month.

KITESURFING EQUIPMENT
We
use the complete range of Naish Inflatable Kites, Boxer, Torch, Raven. Trainer
Kites by Naish & Slingshot. We have over 90
kites in our demo quiver and over 200 new and used kites available to our
customers. This makes us the biggest Kitesurfing fleet in the US. Boards include
the Naish twin-tips TT Sol, Haze, Thorn. Directional Alien and Wave. A full quiver
of Litewave Design Boards and Custom Boards from Sean Ordonez, Slingshot, and
Jimmy Lewis.

TRAINER KITE
& VIDEO PACKAGE
For
the fun and easy way to get kiteflying skills, we recommend that you
purchase a trainer kite before your kiteboarding lessons. We have Ram-air
design kites in sizes ranging from 1m2 to 3m2. When using any kite you
should take extreme care. We include a manual and video with every trainer
kite package.
Our trainer kites from Naish, Slingshot, Airush and Best,
are fun performance kites that can produce a lot of power, and younger
fliers should always be supervised by adults.
These kites are extremely fun, but they
are not toys. The larger trainers can be used as traction kites on
land or snow. |
