Old Lahaina Luau makes great effort to present an authentic evening of traditional Hawaiian food, music and dancing. The evening starts with each guest greeted with a fresh flower lei, a tropical drink and souvenir program. A photo
opportunity is also given. After you have been shown to your seat, guests may gather around as the luau Kalua Pig is unearthed from the "Imu". An Imu pit is an underground oven that slow cooks the pig all day long.
The bountiful buffet includes; Kalua Pig, Hawaiian style BBQ sirloin steaks and chicken, mahi mahi, sweet potato, rice, a variety of salads and fresh fruits, banana bread, and Hawaiian Luau specialties such as, haupia, chicken long rice and lomi lomi salmon. Desserts and coffee are served at the table. An open premium bar is available which will include special frozen tropical drinks with our without alcohol. Sodas and tropical punch are also available all evening.
The Luau program is as informative as it is entertaining, the Luau show begins with the Kahiko (ancient) hula accompanied by chanting and ancient style instruments and continuing on to each era of Hawaiian history.
