When National Geographic Traveler came to Hawaii to
write a cover piece on "The Real
Maui" they chose marine biologist Ann
Fielding to guide them to the marine life most tourists
never see. Ann takes small groups of snorkelers to her favorite reefs
to share her extensive knowledge. Check out the November 1995 issue

- SNORKEL
MAUI: A
half-day shoreline snorkeling adventure in a small group. This is
a fun and easy way to learn about Hawaiian marine life first-hand.
Ages 7 and up and all experience levels welcome.
- ISLAND
EXPLORATIONS: Ann
also runs a scuba and snorkel travel company, Island Explorations
LLC. Trips in 2008 & 2009 will be to Peru for hiking and Inca sites &
culture in June, New Guinea for diving in mid-October, Indonesia (Raja
Ampat) for diving
in December. In late 2009 there will be two trips on the
Spirit of
Solomons in the
Solomon
Islands, one for
snorkelers and one for divers. All are accompanied by Ann.
