I just experienced my first trip to Maui in April.. It was fantastic! I loved it so much I did not want to come home. It was the tail end of whale season so we were able to see quite a few whales. They would come right up beside the boat. Even saw a full breach!We also took the road to Hana and I must say the drive was BEAUTIFUL! Long though.. It took almost 2 hrs to go about 45 miles. My husband and I will be making our 3 trip to Maui in October and are trying to decide if this time around we want to watch the sunrise from Mt. Haleakala. This is not to be mistaken to be Wahu, Walee, Mahi-Mahi, Ono or Ahi. Texture is similar to Halibut but more moist....
My absolute favorite place to have awesome coffee. Mingling with locals in the early morning. Their breakfast is great! Yummie...
Mama's is my all time favorite restaurant. We've been visiting Maui for the past 15 years and Mama's is always a highlight....

YES: While Maui does not offer the nightlife you'd find on Oahu or in larger cities, we do have dance clubs and live music....
