We invite you to join our Ohana (family) where you will enjoy an evening of traditional Hawaiian celebrations. Upon arrival at this award-winning luau, you will be welcomed with a lei greeting and be offered a Mai Tai from our open-bar. Be sure to arrive early so you don't miss the Imu Ceremony and then enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet dinner. Be amazed by the beauty of the hula, a traditional dance retelling the stories of many Hawaiian legends.
This was my first luau, and I had a blast. I went with a local friend, and he gave me the warning that we needed to be there early as the line get long fast.
When we arrived at 4:40pm and the line had already started, but we could still see the entrance. Eventually someone came along and exchanged our tickets for a table card. Our entrance was a shell leis that allowed entrance to the luau grounds.
Upon entrance our picture was taken in the garden setting, with the option to buy the picture at the end of the night for $20. After being directed to our table we were given the choice of 5 different alcoholic drinks and 2 non-alcoholic drinks, brought free of charge to the table. Another option is to go to the bar for other drinks including a Pina Colada served in a pineapple.
There is another option for sunset photos during this time. This luau does allow photography and videography, so you can get pictures of whatever you would like on your own. Then they unearth the kalua, and table by table start the buffet. I will say that the poi is a unique experience and should be tried, if nothing else to say that you have tried it. The bar and buffet are open all evening.
Then the lights dim and the show begins. Hula, Samoan and other dancing performances takes place on 2 stages. The finale is the Samoan fire dancing.
Then it is time to pick out a souvenir or two from the vendors stalls, decide if you want any of the pictures they took, and then leave the grounds.
