Join the Pacific Whale Foundation as they take you on a journey back through time, back to the days of missionaries, whalers, and the Hawaiian monarchy. Discover the legends, lore, chants, and history of what used to be a central whaling village as you cruise down Maui's West coast on the brand new vessel Ocean Discovery. Adults $19.95, Children ages 7-12 $15.00, Children ages 6 and under free each with a paying adult. Prices do not include tax and fees.


Nestled on the slopes of Haleakala, Kula Botanical Garden provides a beautiful, relaxing experience for the entire family! Explore a gorgeous world full of hundreds of varieties or familiar and new botanical specimens, some found only in Hawaii. Each specimen is labeled so that you may identify them. An aviary is also located in the garden, along with Nene geese, African cranes, and Jackson chameleons. We also feature a gift shop that has restrooms, refreshments, and a deck. Open daily from 9am-4pm. Adults $7.50, Children 6-12 $2.00, Children 6 and under free. Ask about wedding packages and group rates.


Want an option where kids have fun and parents have their own day to play? Well, consider the Kids Ocean Adventure Camp, where kids ages 6-12 can spend an entire day (or more) working on cool ocean science activities and experiments, trekking the beach for fun and learning, exploring diverse tidepools, and participate in marine science arts, crafts, and games. They'll even take at least one field trip a day, to places like the Maui Ocean Center! Staff comprised of professional educators, certified in CPR, lifeguarding, and first aid. Available Mon-Sat, year-round at the Ocean Science Discovery Center at the Harbor Shops at Ma'alaea. Packages include field trip, breakfast, lunch, and refreshments. Bring towel, swimsuit, water shoes, change of clothes, and sunscreen. Advanced reservations required. Ask about our evening Ocean Commotion Program (available Fri and Sat).


Find yourself in the Sacred Garden of Maliko. Experience beauty, understand divinity, and let Eve Hogan, an inspirational speaker, author, spiritual/life coach, labyrinth facilitator, wedding officiant, and proprietor, lead you on a journey to self-discovery. She offers private classes, coaching, meeting space, weddings, healing sessions, and labyrinth walks, all by appointment. Open daily 10am-5pm and by appointment/scheduled event.


Fun for the entire family! Stop at the Hawaii Nature Center on your visit through Iao Valley and tickle your nature senses. Enticing both kids and adults alike, the Center's Interactive Museum and guided Rainforest Walks are sure ways to learn about the natural Hawaiian environment and how things came to be. It's education in both a museum setting and the natural environment. There are more than 30 hands-on exhibits in the museum and the Rainforest Walks are complete with guided narration to familiarize you with the natural flora and fauna. Reservations required for the Rainforest Walks. Museum and gift shop open daily. Rainforest Walks given Mon-Fri at 11:30am and 1:30pm and Sat-Sun 11am and 2pm.
