"Simply Married" - A Con Artist

Aulani Marks simply put is a con artist and you should avoid her and her company. She did not pay the I'O Restaurant for which she was paid in full. I had to pay them over $1700.00 dollars the night of our wedding reception. When questioned by myself, Aulani said it was a big mistake by the restaurant and she would make it right with me. After five days of no action by her to either contact the restaurant or myself I filed a report with the Maui Police. She to date has not responded to many, many phone calls and emails(wedding Dec 2010). Oh and by the way she and her company are NOT a member of the BBB as her webite states. If you want your wedding to be that perfect day as it should be STAY AWAY FROM HER COMPANY!!

Simply Married - Terrible

We booked Simply Married as our wedding coordinators for a Sept 2011 wedding. We worked with Aulani Marks. She started off great, and was extremely helpful. However, she started losing interest in our wedding, giving us the wrong information on wedding times, flower websites, and eventually, billing us with the wrong sales tax on our invoice. When we questioned her motivation, she decided to cancel her services which devastated my finanace. We wasted a couple months with her, and now have to go back to square 1. Aulani said she would refund our deposit, but it's been over a month, and no refund despite several follow up e-mails and phone calls. We reported this to the BBB. I hope no one else has to go thru what we've been dealing with. We never got an explanation on any of it. Anyhow, I hope this helps!
