this is something that is almost impossible to miss on maui. It is the epitome of landmarks on maui. We use these smokestacks to get weather reports. "which way is da smokestacks blowing, brah?" "stay blowing KONAS" "shooots we go surf north shore!" No, seriously, people do this :p
