From NYC to Maui...

People frequently ask me how I ended up selling Wailea Real Estate. My journey to Maui started 4 years ago. At the time we were living in New York City but found out we had a baby on the way so decided to move closer to family. My family lives in Atlanta and my wife's lives on Maui, so with that we decided to make the move 5,000 miles from the East Coast to the sunny Pacific (sight unseen for me as I had never been to Hawaii before our decision). We moved to Kihei a few months prior to the arrival of our son, Julian Kai. Getting used to life in Maui was easy, as the locals are friendly and visitors are usually joyful to be on vacation. One of the hardest things to get used to was the lack of 'things', coming from NYC we were used to having a plethora of choices in everything - whether we were looking... Mark as Offensive
