Dear friends,

For those of you new to Island Explorations, I'm a marine biologist who for 30 years has organized and led expeditions to the world's most beautiful coral reefs to share the thrill of underwater exploration with people who are genuinely interested in experiencing and learning about tropical marine life. I also occasionally lead hiking-cultural trips to other places.

Some trips also have other biologists and naturalists along, experts in marine life of the area. Past trips have been sponsored by the Waikiki Aquarium and Stephen Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institute.

The focus of each trip is learning the marine life of the area through diving, snorkeling, books and slide and video talks while having fun, meeting new people, and seeing new places. I hope you can join me!
