COURSE MAPS AND SCORECARDS

The Tournament North Course (see the Scorecard) is one of only two golf courses in all of Hawaii designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. The legendary architect took full advantage of the region's scenic natural beauty to create a course that is distinctive, demanding and appealing. Par 71, 6,994 yards, the North is typically Trent Jones, with large, contoured greens that place the emphasis on putting skill.

It also boasts one of the best finishing holes in the state, the par-four 18th hole that Arnold Palmer, during the Canada Cup, called one of the most challenging holes he'd played.

At 6,555 yards, the par 71 Resort South Course (see the Scorecard) is a bit shorter, with smaller, subtle greens that demand all the accuracy you can muster. Not easy, when you're surrounded by sweeping views of the West Maui coast, the neighbor islands of Molokai and Lanai, and in the winter, humpback whales cavorting offshore. Not to mention the whimsical Sugar Cane Train, whose steam locomotive, a reminder of turn-of-the-century Hawaii, chugs past on its way to the historic whaling town of Lahaina.
